A historic Finchley farm hosted a special yoga event to raise money for a multiple sclerosis charity yesterday.

Dozens of people attended Yoga Down on the Farm which was organised by yoga teacher Jenny Igoe and student Jane Ower.

Jane was diagnosed with Primary Progressive Multiple Sclerosis in August 2010 and was progressively getting weaker.

But in February last year, she started yoga classes with Jenny Igoe, which helped improve her balance, strength and confidence.

At yesterday's event there were a total of 15 classes on offer at College Farm in Fitzalan Road, all of which were open to people of all abilities including those suffering from multiple sclerosis (MS).

Guests were also treated to a special meditation area, drumming and crafts while children got involved in their very own yoga sessions as well as story-telling and circus skills.

All proceeds from the event will go to Harrow Multiple Sclerosis Therapy Centre, which provides therapies for MS sufferers.
