Footballers will line up against celebrities at a match in memory of a teenager who was stabbed outside his school next week.

Kiyan Prince was just 15 when he was killed in an attack outside the London Academy, in Spur Road, on May 18, 2006.

Queens Park Rangers, where he played in a youth team, is helping raise money for a charity set up in his memory – the Kiyan Prince Foundation.

This year marks the eighth anniversary since his death and football players will come together to raise money for the charity.

Set up by his father, Mark, after Kiyan's death, the foundation aims to raise awareness of the the impact knife crime has on victims, their families, and suspects.

It focuses on education and tries to help young people achieve their goals, instead of becoming part of gangs.

The event will see QPR FC, Celeb FC and Warrior Old Boys play matches against each other.

There will also be face painting, food, music and a raffle draw.

It will be held on Sunday, May 18, at The Hive, in Camrose Avenue, and kick off is at 5.30pm.
