Further complaints about the Mayor of Barnet’s failure to declare his position as a landlord when voting on controversial housing policies have been submitted to the council.
Andrew Dismore, London Assembly member for Barnet, has provided seven pages of additional evidence and a supplementary complaint about Councillor Hugh Rayner to Barnet Borough Council’s monitoring officer.
The complaint, which cannot be published for legal reasons, raises a number of issues, concerning Cllr Rayner’s failure to register his interest while chairing meetings regarding housing policy and benefits to landlords.
This follows a 19-page complaint Mr Dismore submitted on June 16, and talks with the Mayor of London Boris Johnson at yesterday’s Mayor’s Question Time.
