London Broncos have signed back rower Atelea Vea from the St George Illawarra Dragons.

Vea, 27, is an Australian of Tongan descent. He began his NRL career with Cronulla Sharks in 2009 and subsequently played for Melbourne Storm before moving to the Dragons. He represented Tonga in the 2009 Pacific Cup.

Broncos head coach Tony Rea said: "The squad is delighted to welcome the hard working and skilful attributes that Atelea brings to games."

London Broncos have confirmed that the three young Leeds Rhinos players, Alex Foster, 20, Thomas Minns and James Duckworth, both 19 who joined at the start of the season have signed for the club for the rest of the 2014 campaign.

Foster and Minns made their Super League debuts for the Broncos at Widnes last week. All three players are contracted to Leeds Rhinos from 2015 onwards.
