Barnet joint head coach Dick Schreuder says Spanish midfielder Luisma Villa is likely to be ruled out for five weeks with an ankle injury.
Villa suffered the injury against Grimsby Town last week and underwent a scan on Monday.
“It is not as long as we thought but it’s still a difficult injury,” Schreuder said after the Bees win against Forest Green Rovers. “So hopefully he’ll be back in five weeks but we will have to see how it goes.
“He has to rest now and has a cast on. It is good for him to rest his leg, we want him back as quickly as possible but that might not be possible.”
Jake Hyde picked up a hamstring problem during the win against Rovers and Schreuder said an assessment on the injury would be made today. He added: “Hopefully it is not too long because we need everybody fit.”
