THE HERTFORDSHIRE (TEMPORARYCLOSING AND TEMPORARYWAITING RESTRICTIONS IN VARIOUS ROADS IN WATFORD) ORDER NO.2 2017
NOTICE is given thatthe Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all traffic from using the following lengths of roads ("the Roads") and to prohibit all vehicles from waiting at anytime on both sides of these lengths of Roads whilst works are in progress:-
1. thatlength of Smith Street, Watford from its junction with King Street south eastwards to its junction with The Crescent, adistance of approximately 121 metres.

An alternative southbound route will be via King Street, A411 (Exchange Road/ Beechen Grove/Exchange Road), Cambridge Road, Granville Road and
The Crescent
An alternative northbound route will be via The Crescent, Granville Road, King Street, A411 (Exchange Road/Beechen Grove), Water Lane, High Street
and King Street.
2. thatlength of Sydney Road, Watford from its junction with Hagden Lane north westwards and north eastwards to its junction with Whippendell Road, adistance of approximately 445 metres.

An alternative route will be via Hagden Lane and Whippendell Road.
3. thatlength of Chenies Way, Watford from its southernmost junction with A4145Tolpits Lane north westwards, north eastwards, south eastwards and north eastwards to its northernmost junction with A4145 Tolpits Lane, adistance of approximately 302 metres.

An alternative route will be via A4145 Tolpits Lane.
4. thatlength of Kelmscott Crescent, Watford from its westernmost junction with Hagden Lane south eastwards and north eastwards to its easternmost junction with Hagden Lane, adistance of approximately 248 metres.

An alternative route will be via Hagden Lane.
5. thatlength of Kelmscott Close, Watford from its junction with Kelmscott Crescent south westwards for its entire length.

There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.
6. thatlength of Charlock Way, Watford from its junction with Vicarage Road

north westwards, northeastwards and north westwards to its junction
with Tolpits Lane, adistance of approximately 468 metres. An alternative route will be via Vicarage Road, High View and Tolpits Lane.
7. thatlength of King Georges Avenue, Watford from its westernmost junction with Whippendell Road northwards, north eastwards, south eastwards and

southwards to its easternmost junction with Whippendell Road, adistance
of approximately 522 metres. An alternative route will be via Whippendell Road.
8. thatlength of Gade Avenue, Watford from its junction with A412 Rickmanswortli Road north westwards and north eastwards for its entire length.

An alternative route will be via A412 Rickmansworth Road, Shepherds Road and CassioburyPark Avenue.
9. thatlength of CassioburyPark Avenue, Watford from its junction with Gade Avenue south eastwards to its junction with A412 Rickmansworth Road, adistance of approximately 1028 metres.

An alternative route will be via Gade Avenue and A412 Rickmansworth Road.
10. thatlength of Swiss Avenue, Watford from its junction with CassioburyPark Avenue south westwards to its junction with Gade Avenue, adistance of approximately 318 metres.

An alternative route will be via CassioburyPark Avenue and Gade Avenue.
11. thatlength of Swiss Close, Watford from its junction with Swiss Avenue

north westwards and clockwise for its entire length.
There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.
12. thatlength of Nascot Road, Watford from its junction with Park Road south westwards to its junction with Langley Road, adistance of approximately 168 metres.

An alternative route will be via Park Road and Langley Road.
13. thatlength of Stamford Road, Watfordfromits junction with Park Road south westwards to its junction with Langley Road, adistance of approximately 175 metres.

An alternative route will be via Park Road, Stratford Road and Langley Road.
14. thatlength of Nascot Place, Watford from its junction with Stamford Road

north westwards for its entire length.
There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works. 15.thatlength of Cole Road, Watford from its junction with Stamford Road north
westwards for its entire length. There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.
16. thatlength of Balmoral Road, Watfordfromits junction with Imperial Way north westwards to its junction with A412 St Albans Road, adistance of approximately 300 metres.

An alternative route will be via Balmoral Road, Radlett Road, Bushey Mill Lane andA412 St Albans Road.
17. thatlength of Acme Road, Watford from its junction with Leavesden Road

south westwards for its entire length.
There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.
18. thatlength of Sotheron Road, Watford from its junction with St Johns Road south eastwards and southwards to its junction with Sutton Road, adistance of approximately 308 metres.

An alternative route will be via Queens Road, Prince Street and Sutton Road.
19. thatlength of The Crescent, Watford from its junction with Granville Road north eastwards and south westwards for its entire length.

There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.
20. thatlength of EbuiyRoad, Watford from its junction with Radlett Road south

eastwards for its entire length.
There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being
carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained
whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.
21. thatlength of Ottoman Terrace, Watford from its junction with EburyRoad south westwards for its entire length.

There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being
carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained
whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.
22. thatlengthofShaftesburyRoad, Watford from its junction with EburyRoad south westwards and south eastwards for its entire length.

There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being
carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained
whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.
23. thatlengthofLeavesden Road, Watford from its junction with A412

St Albans Road north westwards to its junction with Longspring, adistance of approximately 800 metres. An alternative route will be via A412 St Albans Road and Longspring.
24. thatlengthofGarfield Street, Watford from its junction with Leavesden Road south westwards to its junction with Milton Street, adistance of approximately 154 metres.

An alternative route will be via Leavesden Road, Parker Street and Milton Street.
25. thatlengthofParker Street, Watford from its junction with Leavesden Road south westwards to its junction with Milton Street, adistance of approximately 144 metres.

An alternative route will be via Leavesden Road, Garfield Street and Milton Street.
The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads.
The Order has been made and shall come into force on 23 October 2017 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Roads. Acopy of the Order may be inspected free of charge at County Hall, Hertford between the hours of 9.00am and 5.00pm (excluding weekends, bank and
public holidays).

THE HERTFORDSHIRE (TEMPORARYCLOSING AND TEMPORARY SUSPENSION OF THE EXISTING ONE WAYTRAFFIC SYSTEM ON WELLSTONES, WATFORD) ORDER 2017
NOTICE is given thatthe Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road TrafficRegulation Act 1984, to prohibit all traffic from using thatlength of Wellstones, Watfordfrom its junction with A411 Exchange Road north eastwards and south eastwards to its junction with Market Street ("the Road"), adistance of approximately 245 metres. An alternative route will be via A411 (Exchange Road/Beechen Grove), Clarendon Road, HighStreet and Market Street. ADDITIONALLYthe existing one way traffic system on this length of Road will be temporarily suspended to enable all vehicles to travel in both directions within this length of Road, whilst works are in progress. The Order is needed because the installation of atower crane to facilitate the access to equipment at the ISG site located on High Street/Wellstones is
proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
The Order has been made and shall come into force on 28 October 2017 for aperiodof up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road. Acopy of the Order may be inspected free of charge at County Hall, Hertford between the hours of 9.00am and 5.00pm (excluding weekends, bank and
public holidays).

THE HERTFORDSHIRE (TEMPORARYCLOSING OFCHALFONT LANE, WEST
HYDE) ORDER 2017
NOTICE is given thatthe Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all traffic from using thatlength of Chalfont Lane, West Hyde from its junction with the A412 Denham Wayroundabout westwards and north westwards for adistance of approximately 894 metres ("the Road"), except for access. An alternative route will be via A412 Denham Way, Woodland Road, Hornhill Road, Shire Lane, Rickmansworth Lane, Denham Lane, West Hyde Lane and Chalfont Lane.
The Order is needed because the replacement of existing water mains are
proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
If the Order is made, itshall come into force on 8November2017 for aperiod of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at thetimes indicated by signs on or near the Road. Acopy of the proposed Order may be inspected free of charge at County Hall, Hertford between the hours of 9.00am and 5.00pm (excluding weekends, bank
and public holidays).
