'We have permission for Football League stadium at Hive', says Bees chairman

BARNET chairman Tony Kleanthous has revealed the club has permission to build a 'Football League standard' stadium at their Hive training base.

During an online question and answer session with fans, Kleanthous admitted the club was in discussions with Barnet Council to identify an alternative site in the borough.

He said on the club's website: “We have planning permission for a Football League standard stadium at The Hive but we are working with Barnet Council to see if they have an alternative site in the borough.”
