Changing Priorities Ahead

Is the economy in recession or are there ‘green shoots’:
• Are we experiencing inflation or deflation,
• Will the economy recover courtesy of ‘higher public spending,
We all love statistics but they cannot be seen, heard or felt. We can:
• See - friends and colleagues who have been made redundant and are forced to look at positions well below their skills level
• Feel – the air of uncertainty and caution because we are not confident that our orders for 2 months time will not be cancelled at the last minute
• Hear – conflicting news items from a media that loves nothing more that bad news.
What can we do about this?
Focus work time on achieving. The method we use at Total Purchasing Solutions is a simple tick. Using a green pen each of us MUST place 2 ticks on our wall calendar every day. We have regularly review sessions and any day without its ticks is analysed to ensure we were not lost in doing work that takes time but does not lead to results.
Think about it did you ever say – ‘… I’ll do it when I have time’.
Now is that TIME.
