Local business owner Tim Dibbs of Chorleywood has raised £5,000 for the Macular Society, the UK’s national charity for people affected by central sight loss.
Mr Dibbs’s fundraising efforts culminated in the completion of the 100-mile Prudential RideLondon event alongside friends including Andrew Ridgeley from the 1980s pop band Wham.
Tim’s father suffered from Macular Degeneration, so continuing his father’s long-standing relationship with the charity and adding to the tribute fund in memory of his father provides real comfort to the family.
“Our father helped so many people with his fundraising efforts and it is a real privilege to be able to continue that good work. I’d like to thank all of our colleagues and customers at Crown Honda who have helped to spread the word and donate to the cause over the years, it means so much to all of us.”
