Rix at Trafalgar

There will be a free St George’s concert in Trafalgar Square on Saturday and among those taking part will be headliner Joe Brown and Watford-born saxophonist Tyler Rix (pictured). The 17-year-old former West Ham United junior started out playing mini soccer in Borehamwood before injury led him to swap the pitch for the stage.

The Tyler Rix Quartet will perform at the free St George’s Day concert on Saturday, 1pm to 6pm, in Trafalgar Square. Details: www.london.gov.uk
