Community Fun Day in South Oxhey

Community learners from ASCEND in South Oxhey will be showing off their skills and hopefully learning some new ones at a Community Learning Fun Day this weekend.

Learners from the Dig Deep allotment project will be helping people to make paper pots to plant sunflower seeds. Other activities available on the day include a Bookstart Bear Hunt, magician and circus skills, storytelling and demonstration of the Our Oxhey website.

The learners will also be displaying the items they have made including computers, crafty creations, jewellery making and concocting lotions and potions.
