It’s time to brush up on your yodelling and dust down those curtains as one of the world’s best-loved musicals comes to Wyllyotts Theatre this November, when Potters Bar Theatre Company proudly presents Rodgers & Hammerstein’s The Sound of Music.

Based on the real-life story of the Von Trapp Family Singers, this heart-warming show follows the fortunes of Maria, a young nun who falls in love with a dashing Captain and his seven children and escapes with them from pre-war Austria.

The unforgettable score includes such timeless classics as My Favourite Things, Climb Ev’ry Mountain, The Lonely Goatherd, Sixteen Going on Seventeen and, of course, the glorious title song The Sound of Music.
