A nursing home in Tottenham is spreading festive cheer by inviting lonely elderly people for a free Christmas lunch.

People worried about spending Christmas alone are welcome to join residents at Priscilla Wakefield House in Rangemoor Road for Christmas dinner with all the trimmings.

The good deed is intended to combat loneliness among older people over the festive period.
