Ghouls, demon dwarfs, hair hanging beauties, voodoo acrobats, iron-jawed divas and devil dolls – it’s all in a day’s work at the Circus of Horrors. Seventeen years after its conception at the 1995 Glastonbury Festival the show has gone on to tour the world achieving cult status.
The new sensation, which stormed into the finals of Britain’s Got Talent is packed with new shocks that will take you on a whirlwind journey like a bat out of hell into 1927 Berlin. This was the Roaring Twenties, a decedent decade that saw the birth of the cabaret and was home to The Devil Doll.
The new phantasmagoria is a sequel to last year’s critically acclaimed show The Ventriloquist and was named The Curse of the Devil Doll after a series of bizarre and near-fatal incidents happened during the last tour – vehicles carrying the doll blew up, and a sword swallower was injured during a scene with a doll.
