Open auditions are being held for Piaf: The Concert
11:50am Thursday 2nd August 2012 in Music By Rosy Moorhead
Do you regret the fact your fine singing voice has never been heard on stage? Well now's your chance to say "No! I regret nothing!" and take part in open auditions for a major production about the life of Edith Piaf.
Starring folk-rock singer Julie Felix, vocal star Peter Straker and The Matthew Jones Orchestra, Piaf: The Concert will feature the story and songs of the troubled chanteuse best known for the classics Non, Je Ne Regrette Rien and La Vie En Rose .
Its producer, musician and entrepreneur Matthew Jones, is a passionate believer that anybody can learn to sing and has trained vocal virgins to perform across the world.
He now wants Harrow's hidden stars to make themselves known to join the cast ahead of its debut at the prestigious Queen Elizabeth Hall on London's Southbank.
- Rehearsals begin this month. For further information call Jenny Sloan: 0121 632 2330, 07941 918 688
