New plays, solo performances, sound installations and everything in between – the new scratch nights at Middlesex University have a bit of everything to suit everybody.

Hosted by the university and taking place at its Ravensfield Theatre, More Storm is a place for theatre-makers and a host of other artists to try out ideas in front of an audience without the pressure of having to come up with a finished product.

On the bill will be storytellers, performers, writers, directors and designers. The aim is to provide a creative playground that encourages risk and innovation.

Seven companies and artists will be showing short pieces of ten to 20 minutes, and they are: PurpleGibbon with The Unhealthy Obsession; Chris Sav with Quarter Life Crisis – The Musical; Adie Mueller and Mike Carter with Sandman; Beautiful Confusion Collective with Things That Happened to Me on the Street; FATLiPBMYTHICAL with Lost Boy Sketches; and Theatre Arts Performance Research Group with A Trial.

  • More Storm is at Ravensfield Theatre, Middlesex University, The Burroughs, Hendon on Monday, February 2 at 7pm. Details: thrusttheatrecompany.co.uk
