Based on the plot of A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Purcell’s masterpiece stuns with a magical combination of quintessentially English musical interludes. This acclaimed production directed by Jonathan Kent has dazzling dancing, flamboyant cross dressing and even a flying horse!

Le Nozze di Figaro

Live from Glyndebourne - Fri 17 Aug, 6pm

This new production of Mozart’s greatest comic opera is directed by acclaimed theatre director Michael Grandage. This story of servants outwitting their master is enormously appealing with a score that is both deeply affecting and funny. Sung in Italian with English subtitles.

Ravel Double Bill

Live from Glyndebourne - Sun 19 Aug, 6.30pm

A humorous double bill of two fascinating one act operas from Ravel, with one very clever opera set in the house of a clock maker and another showing a child’s eye view of a sometimes threatening world! Sung in French with English subtitles.

The Magic Flute
