Biography

MP Since - 2005, Majority 5,960, Born - 05/03/1968. Divorced.

Education - Francis Holland School, London; University of Bristol; Jesus College Oxford; Inns of Court School of Law.

Previous Occupation - Barrister, Lincoln's Inn (1994-95). Lecturer in Law, King's College London (1995-99).

Personal Overview - From a background in the legal profession, specialising in property and trusts. Politically she has been a research assistant at Westminster and has stood for election in Local Government. Her interests include the economic and financial arena as well as Information Technology issues. Gained election to the Westminster Parliament in 2005 to the safe Conservative seat of Barnet, with her talents being quickly recognised by the party leadership, moving into the Shadow Cabinet in December 2005.
