The man charged with the murder of a Finchley woman has been remanded in custody.
Kayode Edward Kuye, 44, who is unemployed and of no fixed address, appeared at Brent Magistrates' Court on Saturday, charged with killing a woman in her 60s at a flat in Station Road.
The discovery of the woman, thought to be Kuye's mother, was made after a man was arrested near the car park of Finchley Central Tube station at about 2.30am on Friday.
Police were alerted to the scene after maintenance workers spotted a man acting suspiciously.
