Wingate & Finchley Football Club held the first of two trials for their FLEX educational programme, in partnership with Barnet College, on Saturday.
Encouraged by glorious sunshine, more than 50 prospective scholars attended The Harry Abrahams Stadium to show what they could do.
Club chairman Aron Sharpe said: "It was a great event with some talented players on show. It represents the start of a very exciting period ahead for the club."
Wingate & Finchley would like to thank all the young players who took part and those who helped promote the event.
A second trial is scheduled for the end of June. If you would like to register your interest, please contact Richard Marchena on 07817 884572.
The FLEX programme begins in September.
