East Barnet hairdresser raises £450 for Macmillan Cancer Support

An East Barnet hairdresser has raised £450 for charity by holding a hair show and reception.

Angelina Hill, director of Hair Discovery in East Barnet Road, held the event on Sunday to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support.

Five hair models took to the floor and performed a dance routine while showing off their haircuts.

The display was followed by a champagne reception.

Money was raised for Macmillan Cancer Support through a raffle.

Prizes included a manicure, haircuts, facials and dinners in local restaurants.

Ms Hill said: “This show was held to mark our first anniversary and it was a great success.

“We would like to thank all the local people for their support.”
