Three-car crash causes A1 delays between South Mimms and Welham Green

There is very slow traffic on the A1 due to a three-car crash and oil spill.
One lane of the A1 northbound between Junction 1 and Junction 2 is closed.
Lane two of two has been blocked since 8.45am and it is taking 30 minutes to drive through the area.
Paramedics were called at 9am but they have not been required.
