Staff and relatives at an elderly care home were tickled pink when they raised more than £120 for a breast cancer charity.

In recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, staff and visitors at Greenhill Residents Home, in Wagon Road, High Barnet, hosted a Go Pink Day on Thursday.

Participants donated money to dress up in pink, the theme colour of the month, and brought in pink cakes and pink lemonade for the home’s 67 residents.

All donations will go to Breakthrough Breast Cancer.

Activities co-ordinator at the home Suzie Carman said: “The day went really well. Everyone got into the spirit of it – it was really fun.”
