A woman was left housebound when thieves stole her mobility scooter from a block of flats.
The red, four-wheel Sonet scooter was taken from the communal hall of the flats in Cranbourne Close, Potters Bar.
Since the theft, on October 16, between 2am and 8am, the victim, in her 60s, says she has been unable to leave the house.
In a statement released through Hertfordshire Police, she said: “The theft has literally left me housebound because I cannot get out of the house without it.
“I’ve been very down and upset since it was taken. I am desperate to get it back.”
Police are appealing for anyone who has seen the scooter or saw anything suspicious at the time of the theft to contact them on the non-emergency number 101.
