Ballards Lane closed while firefighters tackle flats blaze at Tally Ho Corner in North Finchley

Police closed off Ballards Lane at Tally Ho Corner while firefighters tackled a large flats blaze in North Finchley this evening.
Crews were called to the properties above the former Orchid Retreat Day Spa, next to the Da Lillo restaurant, at 7.51pm.
Tally Ho Corner remains closed on the Ballards Lane side while firefighters make the area safe.
A total of 17 London Fire Brigade vehicles were sent to the scene, some with special equipment including thermal image cameras.
Firefighters tackled the flames in the three-story building and later confirmed there were no injuries. Everyone in the flats was accounted for.
The LFB said the second-floor of the building suffered 50 per cent damage, while 20 per cent of the roof had been burned.
