Father and son from East Finchley and High Barnet plead not guilty to sex offence charges

A father and son pleaded not guilty to 11 sex offence charges when they appeared in court yesterday.

Wilson Tugwood, 64, of Helen Close, East Finchley, and John Tugwood, 46, of Mayhill Road, High Barnet, are charged with five counts of rape, four of indecent assault and two of gross indecency.

The pair denied the charges at Wood Green Crown Court and were released on bail to return for a ten-day trial on April 15.
