Barnet councillor Brian Coleman's court appearance moved from Hendon to Uxbridge

Suspended Tory Brian Coleman will appear at an Uxbridge court on Monday to face charges of assault.

Former Barnet Mayor Mr Coleman had been scheduled to appear at Hendon Magistrates’ Court but a change means he will now appear at Uxbridge Magistrates' at 10am.

The 51-year-old Totteridge councillor is facing charges of assault by beating a female and driving on a road without reasonable consideration.

The charges relate to an incident in North Finchley High Road on September 20.
