Hospital staff and patients dressed in pink to show their support for Breakthrough Breast Cancer charity yesterday.

BMI The Garden Hospital took part in the national Wear it Pink day to raise cash for the charity which aims to stamp out breast cancer.

Philip Eke, executive director at BMI, said: “Breast Cancer is something that can touch everyone’s life, that is why our staff are so proactive in their support of events such as this.”

The team raised more than £310 which will help support Breakthrough Breast Cancer's research and long-standing campaign.
