A man who fell from a three-storey Travelodge this morning was conscious when he was airlifted to hospital.

The man, believed to be in his 20s, suffered serious head injuries when he fell from height off the hotel in High Road, Whetstone.

He was flown by air ambulance to the Royal London Hospital, in Whitechapel, where he remains in a serious condition.

The London Ambulance Service confirmed it sent one single responder, one ambulance and the air ambulance to the hotel above Halfords, at 8.50am.

Police have cordoned off a side road next to the Travelodge while officers questions witnesses.
