Broken down vehicles leave roads in gridlock in Hendon, Golders Green and Brent Cross

Two broken down vehicles have left parts of the transport network in Barnet gridlocked this afternoon.
One lane is currently closed northbound on the A41 Hendon Way due to a broken down lorry, with drivers experiencing heavy delays.
Traffic also remains very slow on the North Circular Road through Hendon, Brent Cross and Golders Green due to an earlier broken down vehicle at Staples Corner.
The car has since been moved but congestion is being felt on all approaches to the roundabout.
