Dozens of people paid tribute to servicemen and women at remembrance services across Barnet yesterday.
The Mayor of Barnet, Councillor Brian Schama attended a service at Hendon War Memorial reflecting on past and present conflicts before observing two minutes silence at 11am.
The Mayor placed a wreath at the foot of the memorial ahead of a parade back to Hendon Town Hall.
A wreath was also sent to Barnet’s twin town Chaville in France, which was laid at the Town Hall on behalf of the Barnet.
