Two teenagers have been charged in connection with an armed smash-and-grab raid at an Edgware jeweller’s on Friday.
Robbers targeted Vinson Jeweller’s, in Station Road, at 11.30am, when they smashed the front window of the shop.
A 17-year-old from Colindale and a 16-year-old from Stanmore have since been charged with robbery and possession of an imitation firearm with intent to cause fear of violence.
The pair were also charged with possession of an imitation firearm whilst committing a schedule one offence, affray, and taking and driving away.
Both are due to appear in custody at Wealdstone Youth Court, sitting at Brent Magistrates’ Court, later today.
