Barnet FC’s fans have been ranked 36th in a survey of the poshest in the Football League.
Just 0.4 per cent of almost 2,000 football fans surveyed by Bet Butler said The Bees were the snootiest on the terraces.
Brighton and Hove Albion were ranked top, with more than 12 per cent of people voting for the south coast club’s supporters.
Peterborough United, nicknamed ‘Posh’, were discounted from the light-hearted investigation due to confusion among participants.
Other important findings included the revelation that 90 per cent of football fans thought the onion in their match day pie counted as one of their five-a-day.
