Former Armed Forces minister Sir Nick Harvey MP to debate Britain's defence strategy in Hendon

Former Armed Forces Minister Sir Nick Harvey MP will visit Hendon to debate whether Britain needs to rethink its defence strategy.
Sir Nick will be joined by global security politics expert Dr Peter Hough and the Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament general secretary Kate Hudson at Middlesex University on Wednesday December 12.
The panel will discuss ‘the politics of defence’ before inviting contributions from the audience.
Sir Nick is a former student of Middlesex University, where he studied a degree in business studies as well as spending a year as president of the Students’ Union.
The debate, from 4pm to 6pm, is open to the public and will be held in The Board Room in the university’s College Building, in The Burroughs.
