Make your own ice cream this Saturday
Dessert lovers can have a go at setting up their very own ice cream company as part of a fundraising event this weekend.
Youth 4 Youth Twinning Committee will host the team-building exercise at Finchley Reform Synagogue in Fallowcourt Avenue on Saturday at 7.30pm.
Teams of ten will be tasked with making ice cream and marketing their product by choosing a brand name, making posters, designing a logo and creating a musical jingle.
The Youth 4 Youth group is made up of young people aged between 17 and 27 who raise funds to bring young adults from Belarus to London to receive Jewish education.
Twinning co-ordinator Debra Brunner said: “The ice cream event is their way of raising money and on the night there will be a table full of ingredients and people will have to come up with their own flavours – it will be a really fun evening.”
Anyone aged 12 or over can attend the event, which will be run by team-building company Poisson Rouge. Entry costs £10, or £8 for concessions and children under 16-year-old.
To enter contact the synagogue on 0208 446 3244.
