Christ Church hosting craft fair to raise cash for community centre

A church will host a Valentine and Mother’s Day fair to raise cash to open a community centre for older people.
The craft fair will be held on Saturday February 9 from 12noon to 4pm at Christ Church in St Albans Road, High Barnet.
Stalls will sell gifts including clothes, homeware, cosmetics and crafts as well as teas and cakes.
Children will also be entertained with face painting and balloons.
Entrance will cost 50p and all proceeds will go towards Christ Church’s Open Door Appeal which aims to restore the building adjacent to the church, making it a new hub for older people.
