Northern Line services resume after man struck by train at Burnt Oak

A man is in hospital with serious injuries after being struck by a train at Burnt Oak earlier today.
Northern Line services have resumed after they were suspended between Golders Green and Edgware while the man was treated.
Emergency services were called to the station at 2.23pm when the man, believed to be in his early 30s, was struck by a northbound train.
He was taken by paramedics from the London Ambulance Service to St Mary’s Hospital, where he is receieving treatment.
Burnt Oak station was closed and services were suspended on the Edgware branch of the Northern Line between 2.20pm and 3.30pm.
The British Transport Police says it is not treating the incident as suspicious.
