A teenage boy is in a critical condition after a double stabbing in a Burnt Oak park yesterday evening.
Two 16-year-olds were attacked in Watling Park shortly after 7pm and were found in nearby roads by paramedics.
The first victim remains in a central London hospital in a critical but stable condition, while the second boy was discharged last night after receiving treatment.
Paramedics found the teenagers in Horsecroft Road and Abbots Road but police say the incident appears to have taken place in the park, which contains a children’s playground, football pitches and a basketball court.
Barnet Police says officers are working to establish the circumstances around the attack and are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
No arrests have been made.
