One Direction fans meet Harry Styles in Met Su Yan restaurant in Golders Green

One Direction fans flocked to a restaurant in Golders Green to catch a glimpse of heart-throb Harry Styles on Sunday.

Accompanied by a friend the 18-year-old singer dined at Met Su Yan, a kosher pan oriental restaurant in Golders Green Road.

The pair were set for a quiet night, ordering duck and pancakes to share, but it was not long before Harry's fans tracked him down.

A member of staff, who did not want to be named, said: “A lot of people came in to the restaurant because someone put it on Facebook. Everyone got here in ten minutes.

“They were taking pictures with him. We’re used to it – famous people like to come here.”

Approximately 50 fans came into the restaurant to have their picture taken with the singer who formed One Direction with band mates Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne and Louis Tomlinson on series seven of popular television show X-Factor.

The sighting sparked excitement on social media sites. One fan tweeted “lovely meeting you @harry-styles” while another said meeting Harry was “insane”.
