Road reopened after car hits parked vehicles in New Barnet

East Barnet Road has been reopened after a car collided with three parked vehicles just before the rush hour.

Two people are believed to have been injured in the incident and police were forced to close the road between Margaret Road and Victoria Road, New Barnet, at 4.35pm.

Heavy traffic built up in the surrounding roads but officers have since lifted the diversion.

David Constable tweeted: “Appears a trailer struck a car at traffic lights which swerved hitting others outside the two car parks. Avoid New Barnet.”
