Barnet Mencap is organising a sponsored run to raise money for its Happy Healthy Fun Day.
The organisation, which supports people with learning disabilities, will be holding the three-kilometre Walk for Wendy on April 28.
The fundraising walk, which is named after Wendy Hodgson, who died of cancer last year, will take place in Brook Farm Open Space, in High Road, Whetstone.
Barnet Mencap is hoping that more than 100 people will take part and that each will set a fundraising target of between £25 and £50.
The money raised will go towards the charity’s annual Happy Health Fun Day, which will take place on June 18 this year.
This event sees up to 300 people with learning disabilities get together to learn about healthy living.
There is a £10 entry fee to take part in Walk for Wendy.
