Overnight snow led to rail delays and heavy traffic on many of Barnet’s roads this morning as travel was affected by the slushy conditions.
The Northern Line suffered power supply problems causing minor delays between High Barnet and Finchley Central which are still being felt.
The M1 northbound slip road was blocked for a short time at about 9am and delays are still being felt on the North Circular Road at Finchley.
Council gritters were out overnight on the borough’s roads as temperatures dropped to minus two degrees.
