Shadow foreign secretary grilled during Q&A at London Jewish Cultural Centre in Golders Green

Shadow foreign secretary Douglas Alexander visited Golders Green for a Q&A with members of the Jewish community.
The MP for Paisley and Renfrewshire South spoke candidly about issues on Israel and the Middle East on front of a packed audience the London Jewish Cultural Centre, in North End Road.
The politicians visit on Thursday follows past Q&A’s at Ivy House with David Miliband, William Hague and Nick Clegg.
Chief Executive Louise Jacobs said: “The discussion is always lively as our audiences are articulate and well informed. On this occasion the focus was on Mr Alexander’s views on the continuing Arab Spring, the outcome of the recent Israeli elections, the future of the peace process and the two-state solution. Mr Alexander welcomed the discussion and the audience appreciated his open response to the issues raised.”
