Jobs in Brent Cross under threat as Republic faces administration

Jobs in Brent Cross are at risk as fashion retailer Republic looks set to go into administration.
The Leeds-based company, which has 120 stores across the country, has a branch in the Brent Cross Shopping Centre.
It is believed that Republic has asked Ernst & Young to handle the administration.
If it does enter administration, Republic will become the latest in a long line of well known brands to suffer the same fate.
In recent months camera retailer Jessops, music store HMV, and DVD rental company Blockbuster have all entered administration.
