Dozens of musicians celebrated their passion for Jewish music with a jamming session in Golders Green.

A total of 120 people brought along their instruments to take part in the annual Jewish Music Fair held at The Alyth Centre for Jewish Music in Alyth Gardens on Sunday.

Participants played everything from the violin to the mandolin as they took part in a variety of workshops including Guy Schalom’s Klezmer dance and drum session.

Viv Bellos, founder of the centre and the Jewish Music Fair, said: “It was such an honour to share this event with some of the most gifted musicians in the Jewish community and to see them jam and create music with many members from the progressive Jewish movement. It was a truly special day.”
