Resident permit holders only signs sprayed with black paint in Cricklewood
Barnet Borough Council says vandalised parking signs will be replaced in Cricklewood today.
Eleven permit holder only parking signs have been sprayed with black paint for the third time in Longberrys Estate.
Residents suggested it was because drivers are fed up with “everything to do with parking” in the borough including increased parking charges.
A council spokeswoman said: “We have been working closely with our CCTV and community safety teams to monitor the situation.
“We hope the public would report issues of this nature either directly to the police or through our Anti Social Behaviour Incident report.”
There will be no parking enforcement until the signs are replaced.
