A pharmacist has prescribed himself a strict fitness regime as he prepares to take on a gruelling cycling challenge for charity.
Mostyn Jenkins, from High Barnet, is taking part in the London 100, a 100-mile charity ride from London to Surrey.
The 57-year-old will be raising month for cancer charity Anthony Nolan, formerly the Anthony Nolan Trust.
He has been a member of the charity’s donor register for the past 30 years and decided to go the extra mile this year by taking on the bike ride.
He said: “I’ve been very fortunate with my own health and a day of discomfort is worth enduring for the hope it could bring many leukaemia sufferers.”
