Man fatally struck by car in Edgware is named by police

A man who died after being hit by a car in Edgware has been named by police.

Perry Wright, of South Road, Edgware, suffered fatal injuries when he was struck by a Nissan Micra in Deans Way at 7pm on Friday.

The 60-year-old was treated at the scene by paramedics but was pronounced dead at hospital later that evening.

The driver of the car stopped at the scene and no arrests have been made.

Officers are continuing to investigate the incident however, and would like to speak to anyone who saw what happened.
