A billboard featuring a giant running shoe has given East Finchley physiotherapists an innovative way to raise money for the North London Hospice.
When the team returned to work at Boost Physio in High Road this week they were amused to find the poster showing the new Adidas trainer, which is also called Boost, directly outside.
Steven Berkman, owner of Boost Physio, said: “Following many comments from patients our team decided to leverage our good fortune by donating £5 to North London Hospice when patients arrive for appointments wearing Adidas shoes.
“My mom passed away from cancer in South Africa last year. She was so wonderfully cared for and looked after by a hospice that I felt strongly about supporting the work that North London Hospice does.”
North London Hospice is based in Woodside Avenue, North Finchley, where it supports people with life-threatening and life-limiting illnesses.
