A solicitors firm proved that where there is a will, there is a way of raising money for charity when it took part in a recent fundraiser.
Lawyers at Martin Shepherds Solicitors, in High Road, North Finchley, were among the top earners in a nationwide Will Aid appeal.
The charity encourages law firms to write up wills for free in exchange for a donation to charities supported by the scheme – including Save the Children and the British Red Cross.
The nationwide appeal aims to increase the number of people setting up a will, as well as raising cash for needy charities.
Martin Shepherds came second in Greater London and fifth nationwide with its total of £10,230 of donations.
Solicitor Raveet Phull said: “All of us are really proud of our achievements - it is a good cause.”
